SCHEDULE

We're structuring this three-part series to build progressively:

May 30-31, 2026

Part 1: Focus on the biomechanics and nervous system of both horse and rider through the lens of BTMM (Balance Through Movement Method).

Aug. 8-9, 2026

Part 2: Explore the mind-body connection, getting more technical with riding and horsemanship in motion (potentially roping, obstacles, etc.)

Sept. 19-20, 2026

Part 3: Bring it all together—mind, body, and soul—by bringing in cattle and activating the horse's play drive,  helping the horse move beyond the confines of a frame into true freedom of movement.

ABOUT HEATHER KORNEMANN

Heather Kornemann is a lifelong cowboy and actively runs X Bar 7 Ranch with over 2500 head of cattle.  She was voted the Top Professional Stockman in 2024 within the Early Californio Skills of the Rancho, where she trains in the art of the Vaquero Bridlehorse, and is a certified instructor of the Balance Through Movement Method (BTMM) - specializing in Nerve Release. Heather focuses her program on the health and development of the whole horse by bringing horses along to be balanced in body, mind, and spirit. She places the upmost importance on educating horse owners on everything from proper hoof care to how to recognize tension, anxiety, and early signs of dysfunction. Whether it be perfecting the “basics” that show up later as “issues” to working cattle - Heather will meet you and your horse wherever you’re at on your journey and unlock the missing pieces to lifelong soundness and a solid relationship with your horse.
