Rekindling the Human:::Horse Connection
Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026

Mission Statement: The Truckee Horse Gathering celebrates and honors the many ways horses enrich our lives — genetically, culturally, historically, environmentally, mentally, emotionally — while creating an inclusive, welcoming space for both lifelong horse people and those experiencing horses for the first time. We want this to feel less like an event… and more like a cultural moment.

A cultural festival centered on the horse.
