TDH Junior Program: Drill Team & Horse Club
We offer annual horsemanship events for our Junior members! Our Junior Drill Team practices June-August, then performs at the Truckee Pro Rodeo as well as other local events. JUNIOR DRILL TEAM
Each summer, our 8-10 of our Junior riders (ages 10-19) practice weekly from June-August at McIver Arena, then showcase their Drill Team skills by performing at the Truckee Pro Rodeo & at other local events. Team Members must supply their own horse, be able to care for the horse independently, riding confidently and safely at the walk, trot, & lope confidently, and horse must safe & controllable with crowds, flags, loud music & other horses.
