Looking for something to do on Monday evenings with your horse and other equestrian friends?
Our new Horsemanship Program was developed to provide our local horse community with an opportunity to advance their horsemanship skills, provide leadership and mentoring opportunities, and to have fun with others in our equestrian community.!
We practice on Monday evenings from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM and we welcome all ages and experience levels. This program was initially developed for our Junior members but we have determined as equestrians, we can all learn something from everything we participate in while with and on our horse and among other equestrians.
We provide a combination of hands-on riding instruction and educational materials to develop each rider, both in the saddle and on the ground. All ages of riders are encouraged and welcome to participate.
Those interested can attend our seasonal presentations/promotions, to move through testing of equestrian skill levels 1-4 and earn certificates, prizes, and badges for their dedication and achievements. Junior members will receive pins/badges for each level achieved, while adult riders will receive certificates for each of their levels achieved. While we are currently not members of CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) , in general the skills, patterns and testing will be modeled upon their curriculum.
Most importantly, we want to provide a FUN and SAFE experience and encourage a healthy relationship between you and your horse. For more details and to join our program, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - or join us at the arena on Monday evenings.
