Truckee Donner Horsemen are located in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains 13 miles from Lake Tahoe and 35 miles from Reno, Nevada. We are dedicated to the fostering of all things equine and to preserve the legacy of the horse.
During the month of August we sponsor the Truckee Championship Rodeo and Western Week. Information on the Rodeo can be found at: truckeerodeo.org.
Just above Truckee, the night of the July full moon finds riders from around the world starting the Tevis Cup endurance ride from Truckee to Auburn, 100 miles in one day!
Trails and open space abound in our area! Come enjoy riding in the fresh air and take in the
beauty which is the mountains! In Truckee the
door is always open!
